WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?

YAY! The weather finally seems to have turned to Fall...mornings and evenings are fabulous and being out during the day can actually be pleasant!

We have a lot going on...you can check our "Events" page for details...but just a quick update - our October Art Salon - "Divine Holiday Decor" is scheudule for Thursday evening - October 8, 15 or 22 and if you can't make it on a Thursday Jennifer will be at MOMBOMB (44th Street & Camelback) on Tuesday evening October 20 from 7 - 9. Call or email to reserve your spot.

We're getting ready for the holidays and will soon be breaking out our wonderful holiday ornaments, candles and amazing gifts!

Back to School?

Summer is flying by! Some schools have already started classes...can you believe it?

This will be very short...just want you to know that our august art salons will be held on thursday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00. august 6, 13, 20 and 27. the topic is flower arranging 101/creating party ambiance - we have limited seating available and you have to register to attend. Return of the Art Salon

Summer is REALLY here...and it's going to be around for awhile! So we thought we'd start holding our Art Salons again in July. Instead of our usual early (8 - 10) Saturday mornings we're switching to Thursday evenings from 7 - 9. And we're bringing back a favorite (Arranging Bookshelves 101 - there's more to bookshelves then books!) Call, email or come in to register. We have room for 10 in each salon. So feed your family...get the kids ready for or into bed, grab a little something to nibble on if you're so inclined and something to drink. Sit back, relax and watch Jennifer work her magic.

The above photos were created by our summer academie students. The girls designed their own dream dress and painted it...the Moms were very impressed with their daughters talent and the paintings wound up framed and hanging in the girls rooms! Decorating tennis shoes was another project..we'll feature more of the girls work on later blogs...the talent was amazing.

We're well into our second week of the summer academie - the girls are having a ball! Jennifer is inspiring them with her incredible skills.

They decorated tennis shoes last Friday...they created their own fashion line on fashion design day...made a dream board...and laughed, giggled and visited Carvel's.

There is still room left in the 4th session - June 22 - 26. Call us for information.

Still waiting to hear from Country Living. Don't worry, you'll hear as soon as we know anything.

How you can fleure-ish in your home

So...if you're sitting around and looking at your house and thinking, "I really would love to do something with this place," have I got an answer for you!

In case you didn't know Jennifer, in addition to creating beautiful paintings, can make your home look like a million (for a lot less). She is a master at reconfiguring what you have, finding amazing bargains, bringing color and charm to what you already have. Call for a consultation ($75.00 hr) and did I mention, she is really fast!

Hello to all our darling fleure-ish friends...

This is all new to us! Our goal is to keep you informed about what's going on at fleure-ish...and believe me there's a lot happening.

Jennifer and I just returned from our brief trip to Chicago (for any of you who haven't heard...Jennifer was chosen by Country Living magazine to participate in their Women Entrepreneurs - "Pitch Your Product" event. Jennifer "pitched" the fleure-ish alphabet (check it out on the home page of the fleure-ish website).

The feedback was super positive and we should hear in a few weeks if she's a finalist and will be featured on the pages of the magazine!!!!

In the meantime...we are open Monday - Saturday from 10 - 6...no "summer hours" for these girls! and as always, in addition to Jennifer's amazing art, we have the very best gift selection...always something new...come in often.

Our Summer Academie started today...arts and crafts for girls ages 10 - 15...Monday - Friday from 1 - 3...we still have room in the week 4 session June 23 - 27...call today to reserve space. If today was any indication this class should be a scream!
